We at Legends Brass want you to get exactly what you want and need in custom trumpet mouthpieces, tops, and backbores! You deserve the best! More advanced players often know exactly what rim, cup and backbore they need, but can't find an existing mouthpiece with these specs. At Legends Brass we understand this problem. We will work with you to design the perfect mouthpiece, top, and/or backbore and have it created exactly to your specifications. Custom orders cost only a fraction more than our standard models. In general, a custom mouthpiece averages $250, but contact us with your specific needs and we will give you a quote for that work. All of our custom work is done here in the United States, using extremely high tech CNC machines with computer scanning systems and measuring quality controls. Many aspects of the mouthpiece can be customized, including (but not limited to) inside rim diameter, outside rim diameter, cup depth, throat size, rim contour, and backbore style. We can scan and copy your rim and cup and add a flugel, cornet or mellophonium shank. We can even personalize your mouthpiece with your name or text of your choice. While we can create custom tops and mouthpieces to your specifications, we cannot modify or customize existing mouthpieces (with the exception of having it cut for Reeves sleeves).
