Legends JT 2B:
This mouthpiece was inspired by a famous Jet-Tone rim and cup. Consistent with the Jet-Tone naming system, the 'B' rim is not as rounded as the 'A' rim, and the highest point of the 'B' rim is closer to the middle. It is an extremely comfortable rim for the player. The cup is medium depth, comparable to Bach D/C. The entrance to the throat is open so it yields plenty of air flow and a nice big sound. The Legends JT blank is a perfect balance: enough mass to enhance slotting with a big core, but not so much mass that the sound won't sizzle! Although this model was inspired by a Jet-Tone piece, this is not a copy! The JT 2B has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), throat cylinder length, and the Legends S backbore. This piece can be used for legit or lead playing. Slotting and intonation are excellent.
