This mouthpiece has a semi-flat, very soft rim with some nice undercut for chop room. This is a low cup-volume design, with the cup shape inspired by the famous "SL" cup. The entrance to the throat is rounded and allows good air flow. Slotting is excellent with the L-BL2S3. The design elements of this model maximize endurance, range and sound for the player. The L-BL2S3 is perfect for extended upper register/lead playing.
