This mouthpiece has a semi-flat, soft rim with some undercut for chop room. The cup is shallow (similar to a Bach E). Low cup-volume paired with a tighter entrance to the throat maximizes efficiency in this model. Slotting is excellent with the Lead. The design elements of this model are geared toward maximizing endurance, range and sound for the lead player. This mouthpiece is well suited for those challenging lead parts!
