Legends Brass is proud to offer the Legends Brass Scodwell Flugel: played and endorsed by the legendary Tony Scodwell! Mr. Scodwell has had an extensive and impressive career playing with such greats as the Stan Kenton Orchestra, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Jimmy Dorsey Band, Harry James, Frank Sinatra.....and the list goes on and on. Justice can't be done to his talent in this short space!
The rim and cup of this piece are an exact replica of Mr. Scodwell's personal flugel mouthpiece (loaned to me by Mr. Scodwell). The semi-round rim is similar to a Bach 5C trumpet rim. It is extremely comfortable and has a nice inside roundness. It is combined with a medium deep v-cup. The original has been enhanced with the Legends Brass throat, throat cylinder length and backbore. The Scodwell Flugel is available with Small Bach, Yamaha, or French taper.

Inside Rim Diameter: .640" (16.256 mm)

Cup Depth: Deep V-cup
